English/Language Arts Curriculum

Mission Statement:  to educate and inspire all students to become productive citizens in a global society.

Grandview ISD students receive curriculum and instruction focused on the TEKS, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, developed by the Texas Education Agency.  Grandview ISD teachers use a variety of resources to offer rigorous quality instruction.  Teachers utilize the TEKS Resource System as a scope and sequence and planning tool.

Put Reading First     Success in school starts with reading.  This brochure walks parents through the beginning steps of reading, what it looks like at school, and how to support at home.
