Meal Charging and Unpaid Meal Policy

Grandview ISD Meal Charging and Unpaid Meal Policy

At Grandview ISD, we strive

  • To provide nutritious, healthy meals for all children,
  • To treat all students with dignity and respect,
  • To maintain a positive experience for your child during meal times, and
  • To promote either parents’ responsibility for meal payments or self-responsibility of appropriately-aged students.

In order to run our three cafeterias efficiently, however, we cannot operate with large outstanding balances. There is a $10.00 charge limit in place to allow for unforeseeable emergencies, but kindly be aware that if your child has a balance of $10.00, an alternate meal will be served.

Grandview ISD will communicate privately with households in order to collect any unpaid meal charges by

  • Sending email notifications,
  • Mailing letters, or
  • Making phone calls.

You can help us keep your students healthy and happy by making sure students have money in their lunch accounts, thus avoiding the need for any alternate meals.  We have put the following systems in place to help you:

  • Grandview ISD Food Service Director will send out emails weekly to parents/guardians if their student has a balance due,
  • Parents may view cafeteria charges and balance on Titan at any time, and
  • Grandview ISD Food Service Director is available at 817-866-4500 for questions.

Finally, parents may pay for breakfast/lunches in the following ways:

  • Cash or check to the office or cafeteria staff, or
  • Online payments can be made through Titan @ www.family.titank12.com .

Thank You for Working with Your Grandview ISD Cafeterias,
Where Serving Our Kids is Our First Priority
